Future Perfect is a day to celebrate the lives of lost love ones, cancer survivors and to help cancer patients with the help of music & art as a form of escapism from the reality of terminal illness and  cancer treatments.

We are delighted to be showcasing the hottest acts, from big household names to up-and-coming artists who are setting the UK alight.

Future Perfect is the ideal day out for everyone and tickets are moving fast so make sure you don’t miss out on what is going to be the event which is kicking off the festival season in style.

Enjoy 3 unique stages;

- The Beach stage. Big bands, headline acts and legends. You. Will. Love. It. We promise!
- The Future stage. Another stage bursting with talent. Enjoy sun, sea and sand. (Well, we can’t guarantee the sun but we will try!)
- The DJ stage. Fresh, cool and mixing it up. Our urban area is the only place to be for phat tunes and dirty beats. Word.

There is also the creative marquee. Get arty and crafty! Our creative marquee is the place to express yourself and see others beautiful art work. Inspiring.

Future Pefect is raising money for The Christie – helping people with cancer through vital treatment, cutting edge reseach and care beyond compare. The festival is held in memory of Lee Wyatt, who sadly passed away in 2010. The festival is in memory of Lee and for all of the other people who have been affected by cancer.

If we can support The Christie one event at a time we can help the thousands of people who need us. Let’s change people’s lives. We will beat it.

The 12th of May 2012 will be a day for fun and the celebration of life. On the day we will all live for the moment. See you there!

Red Mick Confirmed

Red Mick Confirmed

Future Perfect are please to announce Simply Red Tribute artist, Red Mick, will be joining us on the Main Stage!

THE ULTIMATE TRIBUTE

Since the summer of 1985 Simply Red have taken the British single and album charts by storm.

From the early northern soul of MONEY`S TOO TIGHT [TO MENTION] and HOLDING BACK THE YEARS through the sophisticated Motown groove of IT`S ONLY LOVE and IF YOU DON`T KNOW ME BY NOW to Nineties pop driven classics such as STARS and FAIRGROUND Simply Red are simply one of the most successful British chart acts of the last twenty years.

From 1985s PICTURE BOOK To 2005s SIMPLIFIED , now is your chance to hear Mick Hucknalls back catalogue faithfully recreated by Red Mick the only Simply Red tribute in the country performing all the top 10 hits, including YOU MAKE ME FEEL BRAND NEW !!!

Red Mick is the only Simply Red tribute used by Ocean Village, Pontins Holidays , Grosvenor Casinos , Jumpin’Jaks , Chicago Rock Café , Arena Pubs and Gala Casinos .

“On a day of accurate tributes the standard didn’t slip as Red Mickgave us his tribute to Simply Red . Hucknall’s voice cannot be the easiest to impersonate but this performer has it down to a tee. A NEW FLAME and STARS were delivered with easy confidence but the highlight had to be his version of HOLDING BACK THE YEARS ,a highly polished performance.

If you are looking for a Simply Red tribute, look no further than Red Mick

The Circus House Workshop

The Circus house will be providing a circus workshop from 12 until 5 throughout the day at Future Perfect. Learn some neat tricks and watch some truly talented performers!!!

The Circus house is the embodied dream of Owen, Alex and Sian; three Circus performers with 10 years teaching experience. One day whilst having a moan about the lack of circus training space in Manchester a light clicked on….and The Circus House was born.

The Circus House is a Community Interest Company – all profits go back into the company to buy new equipment, produce shows and pay for top quality professionals to come and share their skills.

Anyone is welcome from beginners to professionals looking to train daily, and anybody in the middle too! There will be weekly classes, one off master classes, free training (please check with staff) and space hire.

We aim to be affordable and to offer storage space for equipment. To run inclusion classes and to reach out to not only the circus community but the wider communities of Manchester —and beyond!

Yogazi Yoga Workshop

Yogazi will be providing Yoga workshops throughout the day in the therapy area at the Future Perfect festival. (Yoga Mats Provided)

Yogazi`s approach to teaching Yoga combines the Vinyasa flow style with the Iyengar style and so emphasizing an element of dynamism and movement while at the same time adding a stillness and deepening when performing each Asana (pose) with a focus on the breath thus bringing calmness and peace of mind to oneself .This practice is therefore wide-ranging and appealing to all , from the sporty types , to those who prefer a gentle more nourishing type of practice. The overall goal of all types of Yoga however is the same , and that is, as the sage Pantanjali states `The restraint and modification of the mind stuff`is Yoga`(The Yoga Sutras)

The Joint

The Joint are a 3-piece Rock band who have certainly made thier mark on the unsigned circuit in Manchester in the past year.

Their songs glide and take flight, changing from Johnny Marr style picking on some of the verses into sweeping choruses whilst the singer wails soulfully into the microphone. The Joint will get you tapping your foot every time you listen to them, with their reggae influenced bass lines and grinding guitar solos, they are brilliantly refreshing in a time where British rock ‘n’ rock has grown stagnant and is looking for a new direction. This could be it.
